MST Systems has been involved in Golf scoring and live broadcast graphics at golf events since 1996.  We produce both the hardware and software for a computerised scoring system that is used by both Scoring Solutions, our partners in Asia, and ourselves.  The Hong Kong based company provide a scoring service for the Asian PGA Tour.  This system is being used on every Asian Tour golf event for live scoring and computerised results and statistics.  MST Systems provide a service at a number of these events, linking with Scoring Solutions to acquire scoring data and generate live broadcast quality graphics that are added to the TV picture to enhance the live broadcast.

By 1999 our expertise and competence became more widely recognised when we were asked to produce live television graphics for the European Tour.  Working as part of the Unisys team we are able to link to their scoring data to produce live TV graphics for the BBC, SKY and the Golf Channel.  We are now involved in most live golf productions on the European Tour including The Open.  At larger tournaments such as The Open and the Ryder Cup our service is extended to include ABC, Turner TV and TV Asahi.  We have a small team of experts that travel to each event so we are able to provide immediate support and graphic changes on site.  We also supply skilled graphics operators who work alongside the production team, to ensure that all graphics are added efficiently and correctly.

These systems have consistently proved to be successful throughout the world.  This can only be achieved by constantly striving towards improvement in our service.  We work very closely with Scoring Solutions, Unisys and IBM.  By liasing with our partners, we are continually seeking to refine our scoring systems to improve robustness and ease of use.
